If you are an 'angler' and looking for land based 'angler' fishing locations, there are ample on Bribie Island, Ningi, Sandstone Point, Beachmere, the trick to it is, finding someone who will give up those locations, which often proves more difficult than actually catching the fish themselves.
Each locations is 'apparently' specific to the type of fish you are chasing, however, my favourite saying I use is, "You have to be in it, to win it" because no matter what the time of the day is, what the weather is doing, where the sun or moon is, regardless of all of the 'scientific' factors relating to good fishing, you can not catch a fish if you don't have a line in.

Fish can sometimes be picky in their food and bait choices, often you will read online things such as;
- Clean your bait
- Wash hands after you smoke before casting
- Spray bait before casting
- Dont Talk
- Don't make noise
Well the fish above for example was caught while there were 15 people on a jetty all talking, casting and I am a smoker, so i don't clean the bait before casting, for all I care, the fish can get passive smoking issues as long as they smash my line, that's all that matters right?
